Stephen Dincher, O.D.

Optometrist

Dr. Stephen Dincher, OD  Dr. Dincher is a dry eye specialist and medical optometrist at Lighthouse Vision in Milford, Connecticut, serving patients throughout the greater New Haven area.

He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2011 and his Bachelor of Science from Messiah College in 2007.

He has been a member of the American Optometric Association and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists since 2011.  Dr. Dincher has invested in the most advanced dry eye diagnostic and treatment technology available, including the Oculus 5M Keratograph, IPL, Low-Level Light Therapy, Radiofrequency, iLux2 thermal pulsation, ZEST eyelid cleansing,

Rinsada conjunctival irrigation, and amniotic membrane therapy. Every patient starts with a 60-minute diagnostic evaluation built on 17+ objective measurements, because real treatment starts with knowing what's actually wrong.

His approach to dry eye reflects his broader clinical philosophy: symptoms have root causes, and identifying them yields better outcomes than managing them indefinitely.

He and his wife, Monica, live in Trumbull with their two daughters, Aurelia and Isla, and their Mini Bernedoodle, Meadow. They attend Calvary E-Free Church in Trumbull. In his spare time, he enjoys football, baseball, guitar, smoking meats, baking bread, and hiking and biking with his wife and daughters.
